Link Building Service

We’re pleased to announce our two new link building services. These services are focused on providing you with a diverse link profile and getting ranking results. The PrivateBlogNetwork.info link building services will give you links from a wide variety of sites.

Our first and most successful link building method is our private network.  Here are the highlights of our network.

  • None of the sites are connected. No poor reciprocal links!
  • All of the sites are owned by individuals, none are owned by PBN Services.
  • All have different IP addresses, web hosts, registrant info, etc. No footprint for Google to trace!
  • Full report! Unlike most networks that have stopped giving reports, we still give a full report showing each link.
  • Great for SEO and reputation management. These posts can actually rank in Google!
  • New! We are checking each post in Copyscape to verify it’s unique. We provide all content!

We have been building this network since early 2011 and have never had any Panda or Penguin trouble!

If you’re looking for a high quality, contextual link building service, our private network is just that.  Please contact us for current pricing and more information.

Our second link building service is 10,000+ automated links.  None of these links are blog comments, these are much higher quality type links.  Please contact us for an example report of our automated links.

With an automated approach, we’re able to keep the cost down and the quality high. Automatic link building removes the human element which is expensive. You don’t have to pay a computer an hourly rate!

Our link building service is a month long link building system where we will build up to 30,000 total links. We can build less links if you’d prefer, just let us know how many daily links you would like to have built.

We believe most directories and social bookmarks hold a very low amount of value in your linking campaign. We do believe that having good keyword diversification and IP diversity can help with link building. These platforms help with IP diversity as well as diversifying your keywords.

Drupal is a open source platform that is used by millions of websites. Since it’s open-source, anyone can download and run the Drupal software. With Drupal comes the ability to create new blog posts. Most website owners do not enable this ability, but some do. We have scoured the web looking for these website owners who have enabled us to put articles onto their site.

We’re also offering a complementary plan that will allow you to buy Joomla links. These plans work well together. Contact us for pricing that includes both Joomla and Drupal blog posts.

You can now buy Drupal links directly from us! You don’t have to deal with a third party or someone you can’t understand. We’re based in California! Contact us if you’re intersted to buy Drupal posts and we’ll let you know how many sites are available and you can choose a custom package.

Many people have used Drupal blogs like a blog network. While this is not a private blog network, the results seen can be similar (on a smaller scale). We can put your link in the middle of an article that is related to your industry with relevant text around your link. These articles are spun to be unique. We have utilized this method many times and seen great results on our sites as well as our client sites.

Is SEO Hosting Safe for a Private Blog Network?

Posted by admin - January 9, 2013 - Hosting
0

Hosting for private blog networks is always a hotly debated topic. Here are a few options with the positive and negative traits.

SEO Hosting

Positive: Unique IP for every domain.
Negative: IP block owned by one company.
SEO hosting companies have thousands of IP addresses. Most of the time the IP addresses are owned in blocks. A SEO hosting company might own 111.222.333.1-255. If your site is hosted on 111.222.333.189, it is obvious that you’re using a SEO hosting company.

Consider This: Do real websites use SEO hosting? Of course not, they have no need for SEO hosting. The only people that use SEO hosting are people who are trying to hide from Google, which makes them a target.

Shared Hosting

Positive: Cheap
Negative: Multiple sites all on the same IP address.
Having multiple sites on the same IP address tells Google that you own a bunch of sites.

Consider This: Don’t even start a network if you’re going to use a single shared hosting plan. You have too much to learn before taking this step.

Multiple Shared Hosting Plans

Positive: Very difficult (if not impossible) for Google to detect.
Negative: Expensive
When building a private blog network, this is the second best method. With multiple shared hosting plans, your sites look like every other real site on the internet.

Consider This: Good hosting costs $3-7 per month. 100 sites will cost $300-700 per month in hosting alone.

Individual Owned Domains

Positive: Completely safe.
Negative: Less control
This is the method that our private blog network uses. If you buy blog posts from us, you will be buying posts on domains that are all owned by different people. This ensures that your links are real as as difficult to detect as they can possibly be.

Consider This: A secondary benefit to having domains owned by different people is nameservers, IP addresses, registrant info, and the host are all different!

Build a Private Blog Network

Posted by admin - January 8, 2013 - Best Practices

Many people ask us how to build a private blog network. Most of those people aren’t aware of the time and financial commitment a private blog network can be. In the past, we have sold complete private blog networks for $10,000 – $20,000 depending on the total number of sites, PR, age, etc.

If you’re going to build your own private blog network, and do it right, you’re looking at thousands of dollars spent and countless hours setting up nameservers, IP addresses, domains, hosting, and the site.

Hosting and Domains

To build a private blog network correctly, you’ll want to first start with blog network hosting. After you get your hosting squared away, you’ll need to buy domains. There are different schools of thought for buying blog network domains. Some people only care about metrics like Page Authority (PA), Domain Authority (DA), Page Rank (PR) and similar metrics. PA and DA can be at OpenSiteExplorer.org.

When building a network for internal use, we prefer domain age and in bound links (IBLs) as the primary metrics. A domain is 8 years old with 400 good links is a great starting point. You will want to make sure you build your site around the domain name and the current IBLs. If the domain is movie related, build a movie related domain. If you’re building a niche network, this is more difficult. One option is to write related posts such as, “How Hollywood has Impacted Car Insurance Rates”.

Manage the Network

After you build the network you’ll need a way to manage the network. There are a few products like ManageWP that will allow you to manage your entire network from a central control panel. The other way is to create your own script or do it manually. Since you should have 100+ domains in your network, doing it manually is very time consuming. For our internal network, we have a custom control panel that is similar to ManageWP with a few extra options.

Content

One of the biggest and often overlooked costs in building a private blog network is the content. Who will write your content? How often will your domain be updated? Will each post have a link? Will you write pillar content? Will you drop in pictures or videos? Will each site have a disclaimer, privacy policy and copyright?

These are all time consuming parts of owning and running a network. Content is cheap but it adds up quickly. Most of the time you can get a 300-400 word article for $4-7. If you post once a week to each site, your content bill will be $20,000+ per month. You can post less often and buy cheaper content, but eventually you start to compromise your network by being cheap.

Avoiding Detection

If you’ve taken the steps above you will most likely avoid detection, but it’s still possible. To further your chances of avoiding detection, each site should be different. Some shouldn’t have a disclaimer. All should get some social media features like Facebook page integration, Twitter accounts with followers and posts, Google +1’s and Google Authorship. These features increase the realism of your site but add considerable cost as well.

Link building

While you domains started out with links coming in, those will eventually drop off as sites die, get new CMS’s and the domains are no longer renewed by their owners. You will need to continue building links. At a very conservative estimate of $200 per domain per month, your monthly link building budget would be $20,000. This is one of the first places people will look to cut in their budget. When you cut your SEO budget you will negate the value of your network.

A domain with no IBLs isn’t very valuable.

Final Words

Building a private blog network can be very beneficial to your business as you completely control the domains and links. It can also be very expensive. The setup and ongoing maintenance are usually more than most people expect. Our advice for building your private blog network comes from Luke 14:28-32, consider the cost before attempting your own private blog network.

Blog Network Hosting

Posted by admin - December 23, 2012 - Best Practices

When choosing hosting for a public blog network or a private blog network, there are many things to consider.

The first and most important is diversity. You need to make sure that your network is as diverse as possible. This includes multiple hosting companies. I always suggest that you use at least 2-3 different hosting companies. If you want to have a small network of 50-100 sites, you don’t need to use 50-100 different web hosts. You can still use just 2 hosting companies, but you will need a different shared hosting account for each site.

Having multiple hosting accounts will be the most expensive part of the blog network, but it’s mandatory if you want to keep your domains from getting deindexed. Putting more than one site on a shared account is very risky, using SEO hosting with one server and multiple IP’s is an almost guaranteed way to get your network banned or deindexed.

Why not use Class C IP’s or SEO Hosting?

With multiple Class C IP addresses, SEO hosting companies buy big blocks of IP addresses and then lease them individually to you. In my opinion, Google knows who owns the IP addresses. Since Google knows that you’re using a SEO host, they can rightly assume that you’re running a network. When you start linking to similar sites, your network will start to become more apparent.

When you’re investing thousands of dollars into building a good network, you don’t want to throw it all away to save on hosting fees.

Blog network hosting prices and costs

The wrong way to host a blog network is definitely less expensive, but the network is often short lived and deindexed within the first year or less.

Right way to setup a blog network of 100 sites:
100 different shared hosting accounts, ~$400-600 per month
Hostgator.com: $5.56 per month for 12 months
Namecheap.com: $3.95 per month for 12 months
I personally only use Hostgator and Namecheap for my hosting and Namecheap for all of my domains. They’re both rock-solid and have very little (if any) downtime. Downtime is a big factor since you don’t want to have to monitor your website uptime.

Wrong way to setup a blog network of 100 sites:
1 hosting account with 100 different IP’s, $100-450 per month
ClassCIPHosting.com: $100 per month
SEOHost.com: $200 per month
SEOHosting.com (Hostgator): $450 per month
As you can see the pricing is generally less expensive, but the cost of rebuilding your entire network should be a consideration.

How about our network?
Our network takes web hosting one step further. Instead of buying 4000 different hosting accounts, we pay people to post on the blogs they already own. We don’t have to hide our footprints from Google because there are no footprints!

Each blog in our network is owned by a different person, that means there are 4000 different hosting accounts all around the world. Some are using popular hosts like Hostgator, BlueHost, 1and1, Godaddy, etc., while others are using servers in their home and using small web hosts that only serve a few clients. This gives you the greatest possible diversity.

Choosing A Private Blog Network

Posted by admin - December 14, 2012 - Best Practices

When choosing a private blog network, there are a few things that you should always be looking for.

1. Private registration or registration to multiple locations. Registrant info should always be real or private, never fake. Your blog network provider shouldn’t have 100% private registration. That’s a pretty big red flag when all of the links you have show hidden registration data.

2. Unique IP’s. Every site should be on a different IP address. These IP addresses don’t need to be exclusive to this one site, shared hosting is OK as long as only one site is on each shared hosting account.

3. Diversity. Themes should be different, blog setups should be different, basically, if it can be changed, it should be changed. Some sites should have 3 posts on the homepage while others have 10. Some sites should be updated daily, some should have a new post once a month. Some sites should have advertising like Adsense, while others have none.

4. No inter-linking. The sites in the network should never link to each other.

5. Full reporting. If your blog network provider does not give you a report, how can you be sure they’re delivering what they promise?

Our network meets and exceeds all of those points. We take diversity and network security as far as is possible.

Contact us if you have questions or would like more details about the diversity of our network.

How to Use a Private Blog Network

Posted by admin - December 14, 2012 - Best Practices

Private Blog Networks are best used in a couple of different ways.

1. Direct linking – A good private blog network has no footprints. The domains are not connected in any way including the registrant info, nameservers, IP address, theme setup, content, etc.

Direct linking gives you the most bang for your buck by giving your main website the most linking power. Using the next strategy is safer but diminishes the power.

2. Tier 2 or Indirect linking – This method would be to build a good link such as a guest post, then use the blog network to link to the guest post, the second tier.

This is a very safe method as only your high quality guest post is linking to you, but in the end you only have 1 link pointing to your site. For most keywords, you’re going to need a lot more incoming links (IBL’s).

Either strategy can be effective, PrivateBlogNetwork.info usually recommends the first approach as it gives you the most value and the best rankings.
